Occupation:

I had a successful career in immigration advice and management in universities for about 20 years. Following some changes my personal life I left my job in early 2019 and am having a period of reflection and change. I have no regrets!

Education:

Left uni a few months before completing a degree in chemistry! Did some social science later with the OU, along with professional training in immigration while working in education.

Heritage:

I'm white British with some Irish blood which manifests itself in a love of traditional Irish music!

Religion:

I was raised Catholic but don't have any religious beliefs now. I have respect for people of all religions.

Politics:

I guess I'd describe myself as left-wing and socialist. I would much prefer the UK to stay in the EU and for action on climate change to be much higher on the political agenda.

Appearance:

More to love and working on being happy with that! Appearances are not hugely important to me and I may have just climbed out of a reservoir 😀 I love dressing up for special occasions but if you're looking for day-to-day glamour I'm not the woman for you!
