Happy being single, but would be happier with a woman I can bond with. Divorced, no kids, no baggage. Have a full time job while self-publishing my novels. Love reading rather than gaming, cinema rather than TV, hike and camp rather than hotel, swim rather than fly, tribute band rather than festival, cook rather than eat out. I also love rowing on the river (row as in boat..not arguing, l) and mountain biking along places like the Ridgeway, wild camping en route. I'm a guerilla camper. I love the outdoors and bonding with nature. It's probably a hangover from my military days...waking up before dawn, the dew chilly underfoot, the cold air prickling your nose, the cries of nature at break of day...I love it. I also love swimming in the sea, having to battle against the waves. I get bored in gyms, and thrive on fitness with purpose. Like assault courses. Same reason I love diving, and falling off boats. It's fun. I'm spiritual but earthy, and although I've dabbled in Christianity, Hinduism and Wicca, I feel an affinity with the earth. I'm no goody two shoes, though. I'm as imperfect as the next human being. But what's most important is intention. Most days (when I'm not working) I'm either at the gym, the spa, writing, watching a movie, or walking in parks. I like to walk. I work a lot in a job I do to free me up to write, as a security supervisor. I've been a teacher, here and abroad, and a soldier. Over the last few years I recalled that my childhood dream was to be a writer, and I pursue this now over any career aspirations...I turned down the chance to be an officer, and I recently turned down promotions, because they will get in the way of this dream. In today's world that is view as a lack of ambition. I'll look back at that viewpoint in years to come if my novels do well... I also love args and creepypasta You Tube videos, making and watching. ..
